well, it stop snowing for a few weeks and got into the 40's some days... i took advantage of the weather to take some pics.. here's one..

You must not love your 4 Runner if you stopped on the streets of NYC to take a picture. I have been on those streets...drivers are crazy.

actually, the picture was taken outside of the city itself.. it's right by the Whitestone Bridge..

Nice truck and nice scenery. I can't believe you had such a bright day in New York to take that picture. Seems to be gloomy almost every day. By the way, the truck looks very familiar!

i think we have similar trucks.. mine even came with the sport bumper, but i hit a short metal pole and broke it.. i took off the bumper and tried to patch the hold with painted nuts and bolts, but i decided to replace the whole lower bumper with another factory lower piece..

FYI, cladding 4runners have 2 piece bumpers.. painted runners have one..:

Mine did not come with that bumper. Cost $500 to put on. I remember those pictures you posted of the patching. It looked like you did a great job.

thanks, but i really didnt like it too much.. the best $ i got for a new Sport Bumper was $480.. i was afraid of breaking it again, so decided to replace the lower part for $74. took an hour for me to do it..

That was a smart decision. The bumper does not really protect the car from anything major. I put it there for the looks and to make cars not park on my bumper!:thumb:
