First- Thanks to my wife's x-boyfriend who told me about the problem. He had a 98 that was recently killed by the dreaded milkshake. By "killed"- he said it wasn't worth the cost of fixing!
Secondly- Thanks to all who contribute to this forum. I've gained a lot of great information and have recently been tackling basic maintenance stuff. Along with the radiator swap, I replaced the tranny fluid, coolant, oil & filter, lubed the driveshaft and replaced the fuel filter. I also tackled the dreaded air filter and brake pedal cover
and installed a scan guage. Decided to have the stealer do the diffs, transfer case and adjust the rear brakes though.
