Another proud owner

Hello everyone!
I'm the proud new owner of a 96 SR5 4runner. I have owned two Toyota trucks in the past and had wanted a 4runner since I was a teenager. After a month of reading and researching(a lot of it on this site), I finally pulled the trigger on one two weeks ago. In two weeks, I've completed the deckplate and ISR mods, debadged (for the moment), removed the running boards and fender flares, and removed and painted the roof rack. I'm in the process of polishing and sealing the 15 year old paint at the moment and will post pictures when its complete and the rack and flares are back on.

I'm glad I stumbled across this site as everyone here seems really respectful and willing to help others. I have found so much useful information in the short time I have been lurking. I only hope I'm able to return the favor and contribute some of what I learn along the way!

Welcome JB! Haha, be prepared to be bitten by the mod bug But sounds like you've gotten a pretty good start so far!

Oh, I've been bitten, but not sure how far I'll be able to go for lack of funds. I feel fortunate just to own one! My next mod will be the relatively affordable transmission cooler.

Thanks for the welcome! And BTW, I'm soooo jealous of where you live. All I've ever surfed has been east coast waves, but I have a buddy that lives in Hawaii and he's always posting up pictures of waves and beautiful scenery. Plus the warm temps year round gotta be nice! :thumb3:
