Another shocks and struts (and springs?) question

I need new shocks and struts...I had firestone do an entire vehicle check the last time I was in there....I already knew the shocks were toast but they said they were just horrible..haha.

SO....can you post some links for me to shocks, struts and springs that will be an easy swap....no adapters, etc. My suspension is stock right now. I don't plan on lifting or anything...this is my road driver. I plan on having a mechanic do it all...but I want to get the best stuff I can get...might as well since I am planning on keeping this thing as long as it will last.

Ok, so when I pull up Bilstein's it says there are fronts and rears...but my 4Runner has struts on the front.

So if I got the rear Bilstein's, what struts should I get?

I have a '98 Limited and had Bilsteins for 75k miles and hated them because of the bone jarring ride, but my T4R is almost always a street queen. A few weeks ago I installed Monroe Sensa-Tracs with the quick strut option and am very pleased with the softer ride. I wish I had done it sooner. Monroe.com will give you the correct part numbers - I bought the Monroe's at Rockauto.com

bilsteinus.com will give you the correct part numbers. Double-check on the Bilstein site, but it looks like the correct ones in your tirerack link.

Thanks. I chatted online with someone at AutoAnything and they said the fronts are listed b/c they will be the struts I guess.

They quoted me $324 shipped for the rear shocks and front struts...the Bilstein HDs.
