Another Tom Tom Question

Anyone else having a problem when plugging in their iPod via the usb port up front? Every time I plug it in all I get is err across the screen. Same deal when I plug my wifes phone which also doubles as an mp3 player. If anyone has experienced this, have you figured out a fix? It definitely has power as it charges the batteries on both and knows something is connected. Just won't do anything other than flash "err" across the screen.

nope. i have used the usb feature(my ipod interface stopped charging my ipod so i use the usb to charge it) and it works great. other then restarting everytime i start the car. i get zero issues using the usb feature. my tomtom finally crashed and wont turn back on though. now that ive had the car 2 months maybe thats what it took
