answering calls via touchscreen

Hi All,

I have a '14 SR5, I can't figure out how to answer call from the stock radio. At one time I was able to answer calls by touching the green button on the radio touchscreen. Now when I get a call it will ring through the speakers but I have to answer on the actual phone and transfer it to the car. The phone is connected via bluetooth and I have a iphone 8plus.

Any ideas?

Have you checked your phone menu to make sure notifications are on?

I'll check if the steering wheel controls work when I get my next call. The notifications setting is on. I do get text messages on my display.

Steering wheel controls work. That how I answer mine.

i just checked the steering wheel button, it does not work. I noticed when the call first come in, the green button on the touchscreen is on for a split second then greys out.

I'm wondering if something happened when the apple iOS updated. hmmmm...

I think I fixed it. I went into the bluetooth setting menu of my phone and clicked on "forget this device" and then paired the phone to the vehicle. Seems to have fixed it, and the steering wheel control also works.

Good deal. Yeah they get a little out of sync sometimes. I had to do the exact same thing to get me text messages to work.
