anti-theft deterrent keeps going off

2000 limited 4runner. my anti-theft deterrent keeps going off throughtout the day. it's been doing it for the last week. i had to remove the horn fuse just so it won't go off during the night time hours. lo-jack is also installed. anyone know why or has this problem with their 4runners or toyota in general? provide a fix if you could. thank you.

at least yours works! all i have is a blinky red light. i'm still trying to figure out my new alarm, so if i run into anything that'll correct the factory, i'll let you know.

i have the same problem

hello! i´m new to the forum. I have the same problem, my ´06 SR5 anti-theft deterrent keeps going off, but it´s weird. I thought it was because we´have very hot and sunny days, but one night it got off by 2 in the morning. I remove the horn fuse but it still works, so, i don´t know what to do.

I have 2001 4R 4wd and theft deterrent goes off at night only between 8pm and 1am. maybe later but Im not up!! I called auto elect shop. they say "system is resetting itself" How thoughtful!! I haven't figured out how to make it stop.:happens:

My 2007 RS3200 was going off while in the garage. I replaced the battery in the remote, fixed that problem.
