Any Blackberry Users?

Hey everybody. So i just got a Blackberry Curve 8330 the other day. I already think it's awesome and can't imagine going back to a regular phone.
I was wondering who else has a Blackberry around here? Maybe you guys could give me some insight as to good applications and what not to download for it? I'd especially like an app for weather and stocks. Anything you suggest is appreciated!

I use to have the BB 7130 but since I work from home, there was no need for it, but that STORM is looking pretty nice.

I've never been fond of the older Blackberry's and the jog wheel, hated them actually. I've seen many fail where the wheel cannot click to select anymore.

When the Curve and Pearl came out with the rollerball, I liked it more, but not completely due to the lack of a touch screen.

With the touch screen. I'll definately consider the Storm when my contract is up.
 
Thanks for the link to that forum, i will def check that out. As for why i didn't wait for the Storm, the whole touch screen thing isn't really for me. I am pleased with my Curve though, and will most likely be addicted to Blackberry's for a while.

i never had an issue with mine, nor did i know anyone that did, i thought it was cool and very useful. Im sure some would fail, just like anything, some will work as designed and some wont, some will be the users fault, but in the end, to each his own. :D

Then again, at my previous job we dealt specifically with cell phone repair of all makes and models. Got to love how people treat their phones and say their phone is their life line and they can't be without it. If their cars were in the condition of their phone, they would be at a call box a long long time ago waiting for a tow.

The BB OS is much more stable than Windows CE or Palm OS. But when they crash, they crashed bad. Most of them were the JVM 102 error on Nextel's 7100i, 8130 had the JVM error as well.

Not knocking on the BB's, those were the only two common problems I've seen with BB's. But in general because of complexity and sophisicated features of any smartphone, they're bound to more problems than a basic voice only phone. The other common thread was busted data ports on PDA/smart phones.

Unfortunately Storm is available ONLY on VZW; at least for now... :(

F%$#!king att is so far behind... :bash: They just announced release of the Bold... Many months after just about everyone else had them.
