Any Deadheads here on the board?

Best show?

For me it was in the summer of '87 in Pittsburgh. Flew out from home in Chicago to see 'em.

The Neville Brothers showed up, and the did 4 songs together!

From 83-95 saw 27 shows in 5 states. My wife's first show was '89 Alpine Valley, when they were filming "Downhill From Here."

Oh yeah, back in the day I was all over tour. I have seen (been into) over 100 shows, but been to around 150 (many shows I stayed in the lot) I did almost 3 full tours. Not sure about the best show, but when Santana opened for them at Mile High back in '91 (I think) was prob. the most memorable. Now I am married with 2 kids and my dreadlocks have given way to my "young republican" look. Boy, those were good times.

I am deadhead even though I am 21. Unfortunately, I never attended a Grateful Dead concert with Jerry because I was too young. I have been to many Ratdog and Phil Lesh concerts though over the past few years. I don't have the hippie look though. Anybody have sirius satellite radio in their trucks? If so, that Grateful Dead channel is awesome!!!!! :dancin:

Big Dead fan, but not a big fan of crowds. I went to 2 shows and that was plenty for me, I can't handle being surrounded by people, I am very anti-social when it comes to things like that.

Although the 2 shows I went to were somewhat historic. I was at the last show at the old Boston Garden and I was also at the last show in Highgate VT, the one where Dylan opened. I beleive they played no more than 2 shows after that before Jerry checked into rehab and out of this life. I've seen Ratdog at least 5 times as well as Phil and friends a few times, all at smaller venues, I also saw one show when they played as the Dead after Jerry was gone.
