Any Fix for Faded Rear license plate moulding?

The plastic bezel around the license plate on my rear hatch is starting to fade from age/sun. Is there any 'best' solution for a rub on compound to fix that? Also the black frame around my rear hatch window is fading a little as well, can we only repaint that or is there any easier fix?

Mine has a spider web of mini cracks in it, I was planning on painting it when i take off all my SR5 trim to paint. If there is something better/easier I'd love to hear it.

I have to be the one to go there, but PlastiDip will do a great job for this application. If you go that route, make sure to apply more than you think you'll need, because if you don't put enough on and ever want to remove it, it is a serious pain in the butt.

It is a total pain in the ass to remove that bezel so if you want to use some black trim paint, just tape it off real good. You can try to remove that bezel but I'm not kidding, its a total PITA to remove.

Rustoleum sells black trim paint, I used it on my fender flares and it turned out great. It made them look brand new.

Funny you posted this, I actually plasti-dipped mine black this past weekend. It was a complete and total disaster because it turns out I'm terrible with DIY's of all forms, but it had nothing to do with the product - 100% user error. Luckily I have a buddy who's quite good with paint/plasti dip so we are going to redo it when it gets a bit warmer.

Agreed SEM trim paint is great stuff I sell a ton of it at work. It has a nozzle that makes a real fan pattern so it turns out nice. Transtar makes a good trim paint too.
