Any Help if possible

I am having trouble with an aftermarket alarm I purchased from the forum offered by gshadow325, unfortunately I was going to work this morning and now I'm going nowhere.

this morning I woke up and remotely started my vehicle as I have always done while getting ready. But my vehicle did not actually start. When I came out to leave the vehicle wasn't on, I proceeded to unlock the car and get in, but when I attempted to start the vehicle I got no ignition turn over. the car battery is good, I have a voltmeter hooked up so I always see the draw. I have found the vehicle will actually start when i press the remote start and put the key in the ignition and turn it over assist. Once started it will only run and not allow me to put into drive or control anything.

I have tried disconnecting the battery, reprogramming the alarm and key, disconnecting the alarm brain but nothing is working.

the vehicle now only starts when I press the auto start and turn the key in the ignition at the same time, which would be fine if allowed me to drive. But I cant it won't shift out of park, due to the safety feature. I need any assistance or ideas, I'd like to make it to work at some point today. I pulled the plug and took an uber to work. I'll deal with the alarm after. I may just pull the whole thing out, might be the best option to pin point the problem.

For starters if you could post what remote start you have. No idea what shadow sold you

Hey, I have contacted him and I can confirm he is definitely responsive and extremely helpful. We are currently in the process of fixing everything. I'll post again once we diagnosed the issue and the fix.

Usually you can get away with unplugging the alarm unit as long as it doesnt have a relay that needs to be powered to allow the car to crank up?

Figured everything out, a wise man once said: "check all fuses". I initially check all fuses that I assumed to coincide with the alarm or ignition. Turned out to be a 7.5A fuse in the interior panel called the AMI. Once I got it replaced everything was working perfectly. Gshadow was responsive and extremely helpful the whole way, can't say enough good things about him. He definitely goes above and beyond for customer service.

Glad you got it figured out. I am planning on buying through gshadow soon. He has been very helpful and responsive when I have reached out. This thread has solidified my choice to go through him.
