Any ideas what this might be?

Since I bought my 4runner, I have noticed a sound when it is cold coming from the engine. It lasts about 5-10 minutes and disappears afterward. It comes somewhere from the engine (belts maybe?) and is more prevalent when RPM's are increased. Anyone have any idea what it might be and if it is something to be concerned about?

is it a ticking? squealing? when you start the truck try turning the steering wheel and see if it changes, also with a/c if it does it could be the belt.

Definitely not ticking, closer to squealing but not really loud; it does however increase with intensity with revving. It does not matter if your in park, drive, or neutral, it still does it. The A/C has not been on. It does it every time you start it in the morning or when I get off work and it has had a sufficient amount of time to cool off.

Definitely, not power steering though.

I could try a video on my digital camera tomorrow and see if it captures the sound well enough to hear (cameras a little older)
