Any LFD Full Rack owners out there? What's your setup?!!

I'm on the verge of pulling the trigger on the full LFD rack and think it's probably a perfect fit for my needs, just really curious to see what others are doing with theirs.

I have my head thoroughly wrapped around the ruggedized bars and smaller setups that use those, would just love to see and hear about any full racks.

We are running the 7/8ths rack (got it before their full length came out), and we love it. You can’t go wrong with either!

Thanks! That's great. Almost exactly what I'm thinking. My big thing I learned on my last trip is that standing in the sunroof to set up that side of the tent makes my life a lot easier so hoping to keep the bars spread enough to still let me through there.

I always worry about the Rotopax leaking on the roof in the summer!

Yeah, we only started selling the fulls recently. We've got a lot of 7/8 and 3/4 out there, but only I think three full racks on customer vehicles. We've got the fulls on our own 4Rs as well.

Not sure what you're asking.

Normal crossbars are something like 40.5" wide, the full rack crossbars are 45".

Mounting any LED bar shouldn't be any issue, we've also made some brackets for a few lights too.

We love our LFD Roof Rack!

From another thread, this details the "evolution" of my roof rack system with LFD crossbar on a stock rack to the full 7/8ths rack...

So we upgraded from just the 3 ruggedized crossbars to the full 7/8ths rack this past weekend...

And of course we had to test out it’s capacity on the way to the lake!!! It passed the “Rubber Ducky” test with flying colors.

Also... I should note: we have experienced several inches of rain the past month. Camping, highway driving, and parking outside - no leaks.

Right, the full rack is larger and uses different rails.

I see. They're only compatible with the 3/4 and 7/8 racks.

Yes, biggest you can upgrade to is the 7/8. The full is 5" wider and 8" longer than the 7/8.

If you have our crossbars and do want to go to the full instead of the 7/8, we'll have an upgrade discount available.

Sorry, was wondering if the full rack rails were of a similar thickness (top to bottom, front to back) as the Ruggedized crossbars as they were saying those played friendly with Yakima roof boxes on the other thread.

Ah, yes besides being longer they're the same.
