For the maintenance schedule, see this page on Toyota's Web site:
http://smg.toyotapartsandservice.com/index.php

To reset the maintenance light, first make sure that your odometer is on the odo mode and not a trip mode. Then, turn off the key, press and hold the trip reset button, and continue to hold it while you turn the key on. After about 5 seconds, the maintenance light should blink and then shut off. You can let go of the button after the light goes off.

The MAINT light is basically just a 5,000 mile (I think) timer telling you that you need an oil change. If it was not reset at your last oil change then the timer will be off and will turn on sooner than it should.

The link Toto gave you is a good one. Look back as well as forward. There's some items at 60k that probably should be done.
