any meetings going on near SGV ?

i bought my 87 4runner a year ago and i fell in love . i started off with my 97 tacoma 4x4 and ive owned it for over 10 years and just love my trucks . id like to help set up a meeting for people like myself to talk and enjoy classic 4runners. if anyone would like to help set up a meeting spot around or near SGV let get it started . we can set it up in 2 weeks to give people time to plan. any takers ?

When the government get's it's shit together, I'd like to get permits for Rincon Road. It was closed for a while but I am pretty sure it opened back up before the shutdown. The signs are back up and everything! Just can't get permits right now.
 
that sucks

man that sucks . stupid ass government cant even get its act together and come up with a simple agreement . now we have to suffer . well we can at least get a meet and greet together if people make time in their busy lives .

Hey Jerry, I too would like to get together and talk 4rnrs. The problem seems to be that we're all either busy and too spread out. We got guys from Ventura to SD, a huge area. I like ur idea of having a local meet-up. What do u think of Legg Lake? It's got a huge parking area. It's right off Rosemead Bl. and the 60 fwy. Let me know what u think. Thanks. :thumb3:

PAUL , that sounds like a good idea . ill totally down to set that up , and legg lake is a great spot . im flexable on my weekends or even during the week evenings . lets lock down a date and get people together .
 
Ok then that's 3 of us. I'm good with a weeknite(just not sure what time they close the park). I can do weekends too, although it can get crowded, so earlier the better. What's a good time for u Jack? Main thing is we do it and grow it from there. Look forward to seeing u gentlemen soon.

Saturday I am busy. A friend is staying with me for the weekend, but she might go see her cousin on Sunday. If so, I'd be down to come meet up, I just don't have plans set in stone yet. Taking her on her first wheeling trip Saturday tho in Big Bear! It'll be nice to get the runner out in the dirt again.

In that case let's do Big Bear!

I usually do my bike ride Sunday morning (road bike), but I am willing to skip that for any meet/run.

Not sure how much wheeling my friend can take since she gets car sick. If anyone is interested in tagging along, let me know! I haven't planned a route and for all I know we will just hit a couple trails and hang out at the lake if she gets sick.

i say lets do sunday at legg lake . just to meet and greet and check each others rigs and then with some time we can plan a trip . big bear sounds fun as hell . the last time i went trailing up there was like in 2003. super fun ! but i think a simple meet could span into a cool group off offroading fun . this sunday oct 20th at 9am could be fun . whats everyone else think ?
