Any Motorcycle riders on here?

The bike felt great. So much more power than the Harley. Throttle was a little twitchy with the ride by wire but I guess I would get used to it. Handled nice. Seat height is quite high. I'm 6ft and I could barely touch the ground on the ones I sat on. Seat was lowered all the way down and I was still flat footed on one side and kind of tiptoed on the other. I'm still looking for a better deal so I didn't buy that one. I can't believe how the prices went up on these things. Was looking for one 2 yrs ago and they were in $10-11k range, now they're any where between $18-21. Not gonna pay that.

Thanks for the info. I'm 6' also, but it's all torso, haha. My concern is the ride height, because I have shorter legs.

Here is my collection of junk:

KTM 450 XC-F. Put lights on so I can plate it. Weapon of choice for alpine assaults.
'00 DRZ400 kick, SM converted.
CRF250x, girlfriends bike.
72 Suzuki GT250. Parallel twin 2 stroke...not running at the moment, needs some work.

It could be said that I have an affinity for 2 wheeled things.
Looking pretty hard at the new Husky 401 vitpilen, because clearly I need just one more...

96 Harley Super glide

I've had this a few years, second owner. Got it stock but with a few bolt ons that were not at all my taste. My dad and I took it down to the frame with an engine hoist holding it up, had a bunch of parts powder coated and had the tins painted with my own design. Put it back together with most of the original parts, some new parts and some custom parts that I or the painter made. Like reversing the rounded nose of the front fender to be a point now, chopping the front fender mounts so it sits closer to the tire, my own vertical license plate holder and removing the tail light from the fender, putting it in with the blinkers and filling the hole to name a few.

Still hanging onto my '06 SV650. Debating whether or not a hitch carrier on my 4Runner will support its weight. Anybody have experience with the motorcycle hitch carriers?

At about 430lbs wet, plus carrier you will be pushing the hitches limit. People do transport smaller street or track bikes with them so it can be done. You'll need airbags in the back at least. Personally, even with a 330lb 690 I have carried on heavy duty motojackrack and airbags it is fairly back heavy.

Nope 2016 I rode more miles than any other year before. So far I have been able to ride a fair amount in 2017 thanks to the lack of winter we have had. If the bike wasn't down for paint the first 3 weeks of the year I'd really be doing well. I'm hoping for a trip to Sturgis in August I'm looking forward to it since it's been 5 years since my last trip there and the carbs on the bike I had at the time took a fatal dump the day we got there so I spent the rest of the week doing the Rally in my buddy's wife's 2004 Suburban
