DROOOOOOOOOOL......those bikes are fantastic looking! Love the look on the Ducati especially.
Okay, last pic since I never actually posted a normal one. Did a few things already, but must...resist....buying... carbon....fiber, haha. Love the bike so far but haven't had a chance to track it yet. So as of right now I have my two:

Not gonna start a pissing war about gear, but being an MSF coach I preach that sh*t to everyone every single time.

LOL! I knew this would come up, and here's the story behind the picture.
Looks are deceiving - the weekend we were there it was bumper to bumper SLOW. Kilboy took the picture, and magically made it look like I was flying through the turn. Actually my speed due to the traffic was something like 5 mph. I could have walked faster. Due to 90+ degrees I left my armored jacket/pants back at the motel, and my brother on his VTX1800 and me on my Goldwing just puttered through the turns just to have Kilroy take our picture.
Later on when the traffic thinned out we donned our all our gear, and had a more 'spirited' run through the twisties.
When I was hit by the drunk driver I was wearing full battle armor.
HJC Carbon Fiber Helmet (saved my brain - just ended up with a sever concussion
Joe Rocket Leather Jacket w/CE armor (saved my spine - ended up with a broken collar bone, 4 fractured vertrabrae, 4 fractured ribs, and a ruptured diaphram)
As it was - even with all the protective gear I was still in the hospital for over 3 months. Without the gear - I would have been six feet under.
So you are right about ATGATT! I just shake my head when I see all the riders without protective gear.
Guys - please - WEAR YOUR GEAR!

Anyone been out riding much lately!? The weather out here in Oregon has been off and on lately. I hope to get a track day in this summer sometime.

I bought my first bike back in October - a 2007 Yamaha R6S:
After 1500 miles of commuting, I decided it was just not comfortable enough. I don't like around like a hooligan dragging my knee in every turn, so there was really no reason for me to deal with the discomfort. So last weekend, I bought this:
It's a 2005 Monster S4R with Termis, K&N filter, tail chop, and Barracuda mirrors. Bar end mirrors are on the way. Completely in love with it already. It's quirky and...well...Italian, but it just oozes personality. And the sound...sweet Jesus the sound! As Richard Hammond would say, "That's a proper noise!"

These are my last three. Unfortunately, I am selling my current bike, the Black Valkyrie, because of severe arthritis in my hips and knees and it has gotten too painful to ride.
'07 Vstrom 650. This is actually my daily ride, one of the advantages to living in CA is I can commute on the bike every day (even in the rain isn't bad). If I had to commute in a cage I would go nuts.
Prior ride was a KLR650 with so many mods it was hard to tell what year it was. I LOVED this bike, and it was taken from me too soon with only 42k miles on it when I was involved in a bike-on-bike crash.... with my dad. He wasn't paying attention and ran into me at about 35 mph while I had stopped to turn into a gas station. His 1050 tiger survived, my KLR got turned into a pretzel. Guess there is a downside to having a frame make out of old soda cans. At least the side bags survived to make it to the vstrom.
Even further back was the '04 BMW 1150RT, the first twin-spark RT in Norcal as far as I know. I had a deposit on it before they even announced the twin spark in the US. Rode the crap out of this one too but I ended up selling it to get the KLR when I stopped touring so much (met a girl, you know the story) and wanted to do my own servicing.
Then way back there was a '01 BMW F650GS, a '99 VFR800 (also lost in a crash), a Suzuki DR350, a Honda DR400 I got for free from a friend who 'just wanted it gone' and the original bike that got me into this whole riding thing in the first place, a Ninja 500:
That was the first and last time I ever put an aftermarket pipe on a bike. Too damn noisy.

Amazing looking bike! What are those bad@ss wheels?Yep, love the RCs, such a hog. My buddy has one and I loved them... Was gonna sell my 954 to get one but never did. I ended up with my Duc SFS, but still like the RCs!
