Gas Tank Replacement Journey

Can you please share from where did you get the Denso Fuel Pump? It would be great if you can share a picture of the box packing showing the part number and its country of manufacture. I am looking to replace the fuel pump on my 2001 Hilux Surf (RHD 4Runner) but I am not exactly sure whether to opt for Original Toyota Part or go with Denso 950-0100. I read somewhere that Denso pumps coming with part number 950-0100 are made in China now. Since you have done the replacement recently, I was wondering if you can confirm whether it was made in China or Japan.

I do not have any pictures of the box that it came in, but I ordered the pump off of Amazon and upon inspection it is identical to the one I replaced which was original to the truck.

Great job on the replacement tank. I was hoping to see the frame repair of the arch lower control arm that was rusted out.

I realize this is a thread from a year ago, but I have 5 gallons of water under 8 gallons of gas where I'm wondering how to bypass the fuel-filler siphon restrictor.

Do any of the images in this thread show the LOCATION of that siphon restrictor?

I gave you options on the other post you did. The late models 2002 2001 are harder to siphon out then then the 1996 to 2000 ones. They moved the evaporator back to by the tank and changed the filling system tubes all around too.
