Any of you guys running Trail Gear Sliders?

Planning to get a set of Trail Gear Sliders, but it seems like 57" is too short. I've tried googling around for some more info, but can't find any info. What size sliders are you running? Have pics of what it looks like as well? Also, how are they holding up?

I actually just recently ordered some 67" Trail Gear sliders. They arrived yesterday and I am having them welded on Monday. I went with the 67" sliders because most vehicle specific sliders for the 4th gen are about 68".

I have the same 67" Trail Gear sliders sitting in my garage. Waiting for a friend to help me weld them on. Length wise they fit well, if anything they are about 1-2" short. I wonder if the legs might need to be cut a bit. If you could take some pictures of your install that would be really helpful.

I will be sure to post some photos up once they are on. I am having someone do it for me. But yeah it looks like the mounts will need to be shortened.

Sorry forgot to post them up. Here they are. I don't really have much to say about them since all I have done is looked at them but they look and seem pretty good and strong to me. I will get to test them out later this month when I do Sandstone Canyon in Anza Borrego but I have a lot of confidence in them. I also got the gusset kit that trail gear sells because it increases strength and will prevent you from denting the frame if you were to slam down hard on them. So far I would recommend them since they are significantly cheaper than other sliders out there.

I do kind of wish that they were tucked in little more. But hey, there's pros and cons to everything. Sticking out like they do don't look as good imo but it does provide a little more protection and helps give a little more space between a Hi-Lift and the door.

Could you possibly post some more pictures? Like looking straight at the headlight to see how far they stick out?

Did you mod the sliders at all, or did you just weld the sliders onto the gusset kit, then just weld it to the frame?

Did the gusset kit come premarked or did you have to eye it first?

I will try to get a photo from the front tomorrow. I had a fabricator install them for me because I wouldn't feel comfortable using a Hi-Lift on it with my welds and he did have to cut the legs shorter. The gussets did not come marked.

Thanks for the pictures and details, very helpful. The sliders look really good and are definitely quite a bit cheaper than any other option I have looked at. Any chance you could measure the legs to see how much was cut?

Any updates on how these are holding up? It’s hard to argue with the price but there’s not a lot of fourth gen folks running them. I like the way they look and would be interested in seeing any other photos you’ve got of them.

I've abused mine, slammed mine on a boulder. They're holding up fine. My only complaint is that I wish I welded on the sliders after getting a body lift(I haven't gotten them yet, but i'm contemplating a body lift...)
