Any quick way to access Android Auto

I'm sort of assuming no since it's sort of like an "app", but is there any way I can more easily get to my android auto screen instead of Menu + pressing on the Android Auto item?

Remapping one of the physical buttons? Holding a button? Some other way?

This also bugs me, I've got an aftermarket radio on another car and android auto launches as soon as you plug in your phone

Just pressing it brings up the car's voice control feature... :S

I've been messing with this more recently but what I noticed is that a quick press of the voice control button brings up the car's voice control but a longer hold/press goes straight to Android auto and launches the Android auto voice control. I was able to repeat this multiple times. Give that a try.

If you have your home screen set up with the phone section on when your phone is plugged in it will automatically switch to AA and you can just press that.

Ok, I have done some quick searches but since this thread is up---is there something I am missing about getting AA running to begin with? I just brought home a 2021 TRD Pro last night and have not been successful in launching AA. WOrks fine in my other vehicles--it's turned on on my phone and indicates connected but I don't find an icon or anything on the Toyota Head Unit to open the app.

Car Play/Android Auto isn't activated by default you have to hit menu and go into the settings and activate it. Once activated, plug in your phone, click Home, then you will see the CP/AA button.

Yes, it is turned on in the settings. I'm going to pick up a different cord. Works fine on my Audi but running out of ideas. Once or twice I've gotten a message on the head unit that "Android Auto is currently active. In order to use Entune App Suite, please turn off Android Auto in the "Setup Menu"". Not sure what else to do.
