Any recommendations for brake pads?

I'm needing new front pads soon and was wondering what people use. I work at a BMW stealership and They dont work well with aftermarket pads. I've always used factory pads in the Bimmers I've had in the past. Does anyone use EBC pads? I dont mind paying more, I just want the best brake pads I can get, kinda a saftey thing, duh!

I've used Akebono pads in the past (on my Gen3 and wife's Subaru) with great results and for my Gen4, I tried Centric Posi-Quiet Premium Ceramic pads and love them. Great feel, no noise, and have more of a consistent feel than the factory pads they replaced. Others have highly recommended factory pads, but I just wanted to try something different.

Never had a problem with Wagner brakes in the past 30+ years...I just replaced the front pads on my 4runner (third set now). They've been lasting about 70k miles (which is acceptable since I do a significant amount of towing in the summer).

My 03 with 64k miles is still on the original pads and they still look good. I would not consider anything but original pads.
