Any risk of over-filled brake fluid?

This is probably a stupid question, but as someone who doesn't know much about brake systems I'm curious to find out what you guys think...

While poking around under the hood I noticed that my brake fluid seems to be over-filled, and I was wondering if there's any issue with it? Does the "Max" line not really matter?

(Yes, I'm parked on a slight downhill grade, but the fluid is over the "Max line" enough that it's still reading above max when parked flat).

Get a cheap baster or syringe and suck a little out. Keep an eye on it in case there's something strange going on, but it's probably fine.

I think it is fine,i would leave it alone but if it bothers you get an old syringe or baster.

No cause for immediate alarm, what it looks like is, someone probably topped off the fluid while the brake pads were worn, and then after you install new pads, the fluid gets pushed back up in the the reservoir. Just suck some out with a syringe, or better yet bleed your brakes

I'm going to take it in to have the brakes checked anyways, because I've noticed some pulsing during moderate to heavy braking. I am assuming that the pulsing is due to the rotors/pads, and nothing to do with the fluid level though.

I am assuming the pulsing is warped rotors. They will continue to warp until you do the Tundra/Sequoia brake upgrade. I think I can safely say this is a known issue and one of the most common mods.

as suggested above, get something to suck the excess fluid out.
I use a $5 battery filler.

having it over full wont hurt anything. as the brakes wear down, and the fluid level drops, you may not get a warning light BEFORE they are worn completely.
