any rust issues on Steelcraft nerf bars?

Hi all,

As I await delivery, next week, of my new 4R, I'm thinking about the nerf bars I want to put on it.

I've searched the forum and found some helpful threads - especially this installation thread

For those of you that have had Steelcrafts for a while, have you had any rust or other problems?

I'm waiting to see what they look like in the spring. I got the stainless version last fall, but I'm considering the black ones to reduce the amount of shine. My wife isn't very tall (5'2"), so it's a great help for her to get into the 4r, otherwise I might consider another route
