Any Such Thing As A Auto Headlight Mod ??

The wife isn't too keen on not having auto headlights. We have a Sport model where you don't have to turn the lights off...but do have to turn them on. I didn't go for the Limited model since I didn't want leather seats, and loved the hood scoop and tube step / rack. Now it appears I've unintentinally created an issue I'd like to resolve. Is it possible, or perhaps the question should be possible within financial sanity, to mod this?

Any help would be welcome, as I don't want my better half to do without the comforts to which she's become long accustomed. :wink2:

Um, I could be totally wrong, but aren't the marker lights lit at all times? I thought I have seen them on when I back out of the garage. I do leave before the sun is up so maybe there is a sensor or something causing them to illuminate.

Yes my Runner came with the daylight running light option, which I kinda' like actually. However my wife isn't too impressed there. :lol:

After reading your request I remembered this thread from quite awhile back in which they start off discussing DRL's and then member Rando goes ahead and modifies his headlight system to auto on off. It really doesn't seem that difficult and he shows you exactly how he did it.
