I'm new here, with a black 1999 Highlander that has 145k miles. I'm looking to do a lot of cyclical maintenance (axle seals, fuel filter, all fluids flushed, etc) and I'm struggling to find an enthusiast-friendly shop around here. Even though the truck is stock, I just want a competent mechanic's eyes on her so she lasts another 150k at least. 
Any tips? I just moved to Silver Spring from Minnesota. I attached a picture of her getting towed after I immediately pulled over due to the infamous "strawberry milkshake" issue. The tranny has been fully flushed three times, and the radiator replaced. It shifts better than new!
