Any tips for getting accurate mpg on torque pro?

I've adjusted tire size so gps speed matches ECU speed, I've clicked the checkbox for more accurate milage and I've trimed down the screen to where is not trying to poll to many parameters but it's still vastly overestimating milage. Any other tips? Sometimes it's going as high as 26 which definitely doesn't match pump calcs.

Is the 26 the tank average or real-time mpg?

My ScanGauge is accurate and on a flat road my real-time mpg can easily be 25-32. My tank average is 20-21mpg in these temps.

Yup talking bout the long term average, not the real time.

I've found the real-time MPG is pretty accurate, but the average MPG is usually higher than it should be.

My brother used torque and got his dialed in somewhat. I think there is a correction factor for it.

Yeah I just haven't figured out how much of a correction factor would be needed yet.

A little every time you fill up.

My ScanGauge uses engine size and a few other things plus telling it tank size. At the end of every fillup it tells you what it expected to need and it can be corrected.

Starting out at first fillup if it thought i needed 12.5 gallons and i put 13 in it I’d correct it to 12.7 then the second fill up I’d correct half the error again until I got within .1 gal.
