Any way to get the seat lower?

Has anyone found a way to get the power seat to go a bit lower to the floor? Any known mod or tweak?

I have an 06 SR5 V8 and I have just enough headroom. It's fine (or I wouldn't have bought it) but I miss the 10-gallon hat sized headroom of my Accord sedan. I'd love to gain another inch or so if possible.

Any thoughts?

If the seat was any lower to the floor, I think we'd actually be sitting on the floor. I know that head room is not great in the 4Runner, but the seats are already too low in my opinion. I'm 6'0" and have long legs (34" inseam) and I'd rather have more thigh support because the seats are too low even at their highest position. I ended up fabricated a custom bracket to raise the front of the seat up about 1.5". This gave me more thigh support without putting my head any closer to the headliner. The only thing I can think of to help you would to be cutting the seat posts down and fabricated new brackets for the posts.
