Any way to scroll CD Text

Is there anyway to scroll the CD text? I've tried a bunch of buttons but nothing works.

IIRC, you have to hold the text key down. You only get 2 screens, though.

How do you get it to read the CD text? When you burn your CD-R's, what do you use to add the text? I tried everything, and when I push the text button while the CD is playing, it says No Title.

@mark86: You just select the CD-Text option in your burning software and make sure you've labeled your Disk and tracks. You have to have a burner which supports CD-Text also. I believe most recenter burners do but older ones may not.

If that is the case, my computer is only 4 months old so the burner should support CD-Text. I will try other software. Can you tell me which software you know supports this feature? I am using Drag N Drop, which does not show any text.

I've had good luck with Nero Burning Rom software for CD Text. But if you just copy a CD it will not work. I've found I have to rip it to MP3 first and then burn it.

That could very well be why. I just make copies of CD's. I usually don't play MP3 CD's.

Most MP3 ripping software will go out to that free internet database and download the names of the songs while ripping a disk. Nero gives you the option to name them anyway though, but you still have to rip the tracks to your hard drive before burning.

Nero or EZ-CD will create CD-Text on a supported burner, if you select the option. I don't believe Windows drag-and-drop CD-burn support write CD-Text (though it could). If you just copy a CD using either Nero or EZ-CD you will get CD-Text, if the source had it, otherwise you won't. You should be able to make a copy and add CD-Text though, without ripping to MP3 first. I don't have Nero right in front of me, so I can't tell you exactly how.
