I can tell you one place in NC NOT to take your sliders to be welded and that is "4 Wheel Parts" in Raleigh.
I just had them do my sliders and they did a good job BUT they took 4.5 hours to do it and charged me $403.00 just to weld them on there.
That is after I called them up, said I have a pair of sliders that need to be welded on and that the supports are separate and need to be cut to size welded on along with the slider to the frame.
They said about $150.00 which is normal and what I fully expected.
Then charged me over $400, thats pretty inexcusable to me.
Needless to say I will not be going back for anything.
No idea about Stubbs sliders but I can definitely say the "Trail Gear" sliders I just got are quite nice. They were $176.00 shipped.
Thats a good price for the DOM tubing.
