if you got V8 4WD, ever thought about modding transmission selector from (4H, 4L) ==> (2H, 4H, 4L)?

is it even possible? since it's done electronically, I was thinking maybe it can be done without fussing with mechanical components of the car. maybe it can be as simple as replacing a couple of chips and the switch?

It wouldn't be worth it since gas mileage is almost the same.... plus I'd hate to see the hefty bill if something major happened which voided your warranty.
