Hi fellow Illini folks, just found this 4Runner site. Looks like this site is really hoppin'! I recently bought my 4Runner in September of last year and I'm lovin' it. I live in Godfrey, IL across from St. Louis. I'm ready to join up just let me know what I need to do. This is my 1st 4Runner but I've been in the Toyota game since 1995 when I bought a pickup that I have modded out.

4runner owner currently in AZ... getting ready to move to chicago. I have the opportunity to purchase a couple ATV's before I get out there... I know there are tons of places to ride around here in AZ... how about around chicago??? How far do you need to go to be able to ride around freely?

I'm from So. Ill near St. Louis but I will try to help you out on this one since this thread seems not to be very active.

I know there is a place called Cliff's Insane Terrain in Chicago for all wheelers, and also not too far from Chi Town in Indiana is The Badlands. I'm sure you can do a yahoo or google search for those parks and you will find some info.

I've heard about Badlands. I just wheel around Dayton, OH... but never been to a "pay to play" trail park. I'd like to go if anyone is interested in meeting up some time.

Hi everyone. I've been a T4R owner for almost two years but I just now found this forum. It's great to see that there are fellow 4Runner enthusiasts out here.

I live in Des Plaines (O'Hare area.) My 4Runner is a 2004 SR5. Right now it's pretty much stock but I'm planning to put a Magnaflow exhaust on it pretty soon. But the first thing on my list is new tires. I have 38K miles on the stock Dunlops and I don't like them. There is stll plenty of thread left on them but it's not evenly worn. I was thinking of getting Pirelli Scorpion ATR. What do you guys think? Paul.

I've never used Pirelli on a truck, but I know they make quality tires. Thought I'd post up to let you know there's another Illinois 4runner here.

Thanks for your input. Those Pirelli tires are rated number one in their category on tirerack.com. I'm really liking what people are saying about them and I also like the way they look.

Badlands is probably a good 5 hour drive for me...If anyone wants to meet up at Rockport Off-Road park sometime I'm down. That park is only 2 hours away from me.
