Tire Details - Discount Tire

any thoughts/experience with these? soon gonna need to replace my ltx at/2's and looking for a less expensive option, by the way the ltx a/t2s are great tires just think they have been gotten too expensive. When i got them in '07-8 i paid 675 for the whole set ready to roll, everytime i price them now its about 900-1000

Don't take this as the gospel but I "think" that particular tire was made just for discounttire. My buddy has the high country which is very similar, they look good but he had some problems with one balancing which was eventually taken care of and he said they ride alot rougher than his stock. I think he got load E which would make sense that his ride is harsher.

Hopefully someone has had first hand experience with this exact model. They do look sharp from the pictures.

EDIT: Nevermind, I had a brain fart. The high country isn't similar to the one that you linked so pay no attention to my post.

It probably is a tire specifically made for Discount Tire, but probably based off their new AT tire (released with the last year or so???)...

Tires - WildPeak A/T - Falken Tire

Their other AT tire looks interesting, too...

Tires - High Country All Terrain - Falken Tire

Both are probably too new to have any kind of real reviews...

Yeah You are right both are probably the best for pickup tires. I thing those site are much better for pick the right one.

I couldn't get the OPS link to take me to any specific tire - are you talking about the Falken Rubitreks or the Wildpeaks?

I think the Rubitreks look great but don't care much for the name.
