Anybody in Seattle area able to check out a 4Runner?

EDIT: No longer interested after getting pictures of the damage.

I've been in the market for a 2002 Sport Edition (really like the Thunder Cloud Metallic). Problem is there are not too many 4x4 going up for sale in southern CA and when they do they're out of my price range.

Just saw this one pop up on Craigslist in the Seattle area. The miles are a little high but it looks pretty clean and the price is about right for me. If somebody could check it out before I made a trip up there, that would be awesome.

I'd fly up probably Friday if everything looked good. Please don't buy it before me! :D

Did you get any pics of the damage? I'd be willing to check it out, but I wouldn't be able to get down to Tukwila until this weekend.

Just got pics of the damage via text message, attached. Not sure what I was expecting but still seeing this makes me a little less excited.

Yeah. I would avoid that, but that's just me. I would never buy a car that has had heavy front end damage. No telling what all was damaged or just knocked out of whack.

Hi. I am up in the area. That truck looks clean in the ad, but the pictures you posted are discouraging. I'd be worried about core support damage, but the rest of the damage is pretty extensive too. Even the driver's fender was pushed back into the door. Let me know if you want me to take a look and I can try to arrange it. I'll take a lot of pictures for you too. Personally, I would steer away from that one at that price!

I'm laughing right now because the CL ad said "rebuilt title for SMALL DAMAGE" Good grief, if they consider that small, what would be large to them?
 
I appreciate the offers to check it out but I'm going to take your guys' advice and not go after this any further.

That's just crazy!
I could see paying 7g for it without the damage, but to me, the damage makes it a 5,000 all day long.

Op....just wait, the right one will surface.

I bought mine in 2012 for just a little over 5,000 when all said and done, with 180,000. But what happened to me was I bought it at a dealer (used car lot) and they were happy to have me look at it because it being a manual trans all the soccer moms wanted auto. And their add even said auto. They were originally asking 9,500 and after inspection and hardball mad skills :first: I walked away with finale vehicle price of 4,500 they paid 3,800 so that tells me it was on the lot for some time and they wanted more fast moving autos.

Long story short OP....when its the right one things will fall in place
