Anybody LineX sliders ?

Ordering a set of the RSG tube sliders for my 2020 Venture and was trying to decide between ordering them pre powder coated from RSG or getting them bare steel and having them Linex'd. The truck isn't a daily driver but will see a lot of gravel roads and I'm looking for the most rock chip resistant I can get.

My rock sliders are powder coated but from what I've heard is that Line-x is heavy, fades, and doesn't clean well. It hangs onto dirt and debris even if you try and wash it off. It's also probably going to be more expensive than powder coating. I think if you mostly do gravel roads then a good textured powder coat is probably sufficient.

I line-x'd my Tundra steel bumper. It had a UV additive and looked new when I sold it four years later. I had some good hits with it and the product held up. I wouldn't put it on sliders unless they were mall sliders. The line-x would not last and would cause friction. I wouldn't do powder either.

Sliders you plan to use should be painted. Easy touch up when you need it. I like Rustoleum Appliance Epoxy myself.
