Heavy Duty Lower rear links

Haven't been on the site in a while - just livin' life in a very busy season for us.

Small update that I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the Rokmen lower links. MAN, they are BEEFY compared to the stock units. Very nicely made with a quality powdercoat. I also feel very good about non-adjustable links - just seems like a good plan to stick with what toyota had in mind engineering-wise keeping in line with our buy once, cry once "super-stock" build theme.

Hopefully get them installed in the next month in between family trips, including getting our oldest up to college in the LA area for fall semester.

 

[Metal Head]

I made up my own using Metal Cloak P/N: 7304 bushings/housings and 1/4" wall DOM tubing then painted with Steel It. This was before MetalCloak decided to make links for the 4Runner but I still like mine better as I specifically wanted non-adjustable and I also made the parking brake cable mount out of bar stock instead of a welded on bracket. They make zero noise, don't require any maintenance and are holding up to the rocks. No sense in paying for powdercoat if you're worried about bashing them up. Paint is much easier to sand & re-spray.
