Sorry for the confusion. I thought that 830CCA was pretty hot for a battery rated for 710. The starter really likes it. lol It screems every time I turn the key. Total cost was $124 with $96 being the battery and the rest for the install. It was about $20 cheaper than the Interstate group 27.

I brought one at Costco for about $90 (I think) a few month back and replaced it myself. I surprise they charged you $20 for replacing it while most auto-part places would replace it for free. My starter like it too :-), especially the the truck. The rear wiper didn't turn on by itself anymore after I replaced the battery.

Did you buy the kirkland branded battery? What size did you get?

Oh yeah, got the battery at the dealer. Was in for an oil change and saw they had a sale on. That's why I was charged for the install. I'm happy with what I paid to get that much of a battery. I figure that's why the Panasonics are lasting so long. That high CCA.
I had them do the battery and took an hour ride before stopping in at Advance to get the check to make sure everything was ok.

die hard platinum is all I use in my vehicles, hell of a battery and free replacement warranty, not prorated crap.
class m34 (marine gell battery is about as good as they get quiet a bit more expensive though.... Sears having them on sale often.

Another option is the Duracell AGM thru SAMs club. They are made by East Penn who has an excellent track record. I bought 2 of them recently for ~$115 each.

Yes, it's Kirkland branded item #924280. Group size 24F. Crank amp 875, Cold Crank amp 700. Checked my receipt and it's actually only $78.99 + tax. You will also pay an extra $9.00 (deposit) for the core but you can get it refunded at the Tire Center (not inside the store).
