Haha...easily coerced. I think I owe you some time behind the wheel with my new setup anyways. Any word on when your swing out will be done?

Going down there this weekend to pick it up!! Also going to be installing my CB and SAW 1.5" rear coils :D

All your pictures on here and facebook from GWNF and Ashville have been making me really jealous BTW - your truck looks perfect

Very interested in seeing how you mount up your CB. Been thinking about doing on but the whole "tuning" aspect of CB's isn't really clear to me.

It's easy Bro. All you need is an SWR meter. As long as you have a really good ground everthing will be good.

Good to know, I was thinking about doing one of those rear hatch mounts, so it should be grounded pretty decent on the hatch.

He's integrating an antenna mount onto the rear tire carrier so it'll have a ground to the frame...I think, Seabee correct me if I'm wrong...

That is correct. If for some reason we don't get a good SWR, we will simply add a grounding strap. Easy day.

Awesome to see some action on the MD/VA/DC thread. I know we need to do some wheeling again soon. Sucks that they closed all the trials in MD. I'm actually heading out to WV to go tubing this weekend and was thinking of adding GWSF into my itinerary, but ready that the north entrance to their trail system was closed because of flood damage and I would have to go quite a ways out of the way to make it onto a trail.....

Damn MD better figure their stuff out and re establish their trails. If anyone knows anything I'm willing to do a little summer traveling.

I opened my hood again and still have mud from the april trip to Green Ridge... and just think 'man I've got to do that again' :hungry:

should we plan a potential meet or something ??? Anyone know of some land in the middle???

Nick-

Just putting it out there.........I will put my place up for a meeting point. The main issue will be finding a weekend we can all meet up. Let's start planning.

How far of a drive is it from annapolis? Best time would be mid/late august or september. All my weekends up to that are booked. The event may take some planing.

TuckerTaxi, if you head to GWNF make sure you post something up about it. I'd like to head out there some time and check it out since they closed green ridge I've been looking for a new spot and will probably try to put together a fall camping/wheeling trip. Thanks.

I've dome 3-4 trips out to GWNF this spring (areas west of Harrisonburg) and it is a good time. Nothing very technical (all stock friendly) but some great views and enough trails to literally ride ALL day if you want (or if you get lost).

I'll post up when I head back down there. You should also check out the regional forum on Expedition Portal, it is pretty active.
