Anybody running 285/65r18?

My Runner/specs are in my sig. Anybody running 285/65r18 tires with a similar set-up. My buddy is running 275/70r18 on his 08 with a 3" lift but I'm not going that tall, I do want to go a little wider. I've noticed that alot of the 5th Gen guys are using that size but I dont know if the room is there on the 4th Gen. I have the stock limited 18" wheels if that makes a difference (stock offset).

I don't see 285/65-18's fitting with just a 2.5/1.5 but I could be wrong. I mean, those are 33's, I think at a minimum you would have to remove the mudflaps, trim some of your front bumper and probably some of the rear wheel well as well. Also, you'd HAVE to get the Spidertrax that you have coming soon in conjunction with the new rubber or else they'll rub like a biatch on your upper control arms.

So I guess I'm saying I think you could make it work if you get some wheel spacers and are willing to do some trimming. What tire are you thinking about?

I'm leaning towards the BFG AT KOs or Falken Rocky Moutain ATS. I really like the BFG Mud Terrain but I drive about 80-90 miles a day and this is my DD.
