Anybody tried 5 star shine?

It claims to be better than any wax and last up to 5 years. I think 5 years is a bit of a stretch but out here in the desert you have to either get up at 4am or wax in the dark so even lasting just a few months I`d be happy. Having the water sheet off when we have our monsoons would be a big bonus.:tongue:

Not being a smart a$$ but don't buy into that 5 year stuff.

www.fk1usa.com has a hi-temp wax. Can remember the name it's 1000p or something like that. you want good UV protection and a hi temp & synthetic polymer. FK has great product's and supplies alot of mfg's with product's.

There other product's are great too.

I'm not saying it's the greatest thing since sliced bread but it is good stuff and the hi-temp stuff should be what your looking for.

Sounds like what I`m looking for. Can it be applied in sunlight or do I need to pull into the garage and wait for it to cool down some?

You should probably do it in the shade/garage. Even product's that I have that say they can be used in direct sunlight , I personally like the shade & coolness of my garage.

I have quite a few FK product's , if you have any question's about other stuff let me know. The detail spray either #146 or #425 is excellent too. Might want to read up on them too. 146 is a great cleaner/quick detailer , 425 is just a quick detailer.
