Anyone bought the carbon fiber hood from Burtman's?

Hi All,

Wondering if anyone has purchased or seen one of the carbon fiber hoods that Burtman Industries has for sale.

I am having the hood replaced anyway with bodywork being done as a result of a collision, always wanted a hood with a scoop, so this is my chance. Finding an OEM one with a scoop just isn't happening. I wonder about the quality, but Burtman seems to have good quality stuff in general.

I don't think I have seen it on any 3rd gens. I personally think it would look ugly.

If you want a sport hood just order it from a dealer. I'm pretty sure that it would cost about the same after everything is done.

Excellent information in that thread. Called the local Toyota dealer today, price for all the parts needed was quoted at $630. I think I'll be going that route instead of the carbon fiber.

This is a nice hood. I've sold quite a few. It comes with everything you need. Some leave it carbon, and some paint it,

Yes, call/text me at 717-319-2100 with you address, etc. These can only go truck freight. If they don't, they will get damaged in transit. ups/fedex is too risky for a large item like this.
