Anyone do the "big 3" on a 4th gen?

A very common upgrade for the electrical systems in older 4runners...just wondering if you guys are doing it on our 4th gen's?

Big 3:
1) Battery negative to chassis
2) Alternator positive to battery positive
3) Chassis to engine block

so like a grounding kit? haven't even thought about doing it to the runner, but did think about doing it to my accord when i had it..

by doing this, what is achieved?

better groundings?

When I did it on my '97 T4R it helped my "dimming"...I guess it just gives you a little better ground. When we started doing them they didn't make the "grounding kits" so I'm not really familiar with those, maybe someone else can chime in on those.

the big 3 is a good upgrade for the car to the battery, 1 it will imporve ur chargin with a thick ass cable 4guage or larger from the battery pos to alternator, 2 it will make a bettery ground to the car, from the battery neg to chassi, and 3 it makes another good ground to ur engine to the battery neg post, use the largest cable to achieve the best big 3, mostly a 4 guage wires to everything is fine, but the larger guage is better, and if u did a big 3, some people dont bother usin caps on there amps since this upgrade provide better power flowin. hope this will help, i am thinkin of doin this wen im gona do a big setup in my car hehehe
