Removing the output stud cover is pretty simple; sorry, but this is the best photo that I could fine since Photo-bucket has been fukin with my albums, but this may still may be helpful if you could see the stud's vertical position and the base that the cover snaps on to. There is a plastic latch that keeps the hinged cover on until you unsnap it using your fingers and just lift the cover up! ..."see below":

Gotcha, thanks Rigtec will give it a shot this week! I have yet to build my system yet I have everything sitting here. Only thing I've changed so far is all the speakers 3.5" JLs in the front and 2 sets of Alpine R-type 6.5s and 1 set of R-type 6x9's. I have a Pioneer 4200nex, Soundqubed 2200.2, Alpine X-A70F, Northstar group 24 battery, and 2 FI 12" SSDs sitting here slowly waiting for me to get started =( hopefully soon!
