Anyone from Charlotte, NC?

I know there is a forum for the clubs of certain states, but I know those do not get very much traffic. I was curious was from the charlotte area and knew of a good shop that could throw some new coils on my 4runner for a reasonable price. I have talked to 4wheel parts and tarheel, and they both want 450-640 for labor, which is a complete rip-off. This is my 3rd 4runner and I have done lifts all by myself before this one. I live in an apartment and just dont have the tools or space here.

So, anyone from charlotte know any good shops to just replace some coils for me and new rear shocks?

Or, does someone want to offer up their driveway and tools and have a wrench-a-thon in the near future to help a poor apartment soul? payment would be arranged...

hey, try tom's 4wd in lexington nc. it's about an hour north on i85/ hwy 52 but they are good and fairly reasonable

I live in Charlotte,NC on the Steele Creek side. I can recommend you to a very reputable place that is just across the border in Fortmill, SC These guys have been working on Toyotas for 29 years and are very reasonable. Here is the address and contact number. It is a small shop and the workers are certified Toyota Technicians. They also usually have a couple of old FJ 40's hanging around.
