You sold your '05? Getting old? Toyotas do not get old. They become mature... :) it could of been perfect Project Vehicle...

Hahaha. I know what you mean but there was just too much to do to it to get it back up to shape. I was thinking of keeping it as a project but I don't have any space and time. I have toys to sell when spring hits. I had a really good run with it. Thanks for all the help with it. You probably put as much thought into it as I did.

Part 2 is the 5th gen. I picked up some 2012 sr5 17 inch rims for it as my winter set with some Xice on them. Seems like there is a good selection of parts for it now.

Just re-stating the list from Southern Ontario - does anyone get on soont?

Hey Y'all
I sold my first Gen (for more than I paid for it) and now i own a 2000. I need advice on reasonable cost lift advice (used Tundra springs and Landcruiser springs are what i have been reading about and leaning towards).

So - is there ever a time when we all drive to one location and look at each other's vehicles and figure out when to do a run? I confess I am not attrated to water and mud where things lurk below the surface. But I like transversing obstacles - after I get new springs.
Cheers

I haven't seen anything on t4r or t120 per se, but check out Southern Ontario Toyota Trucks. Seems to be meets there once in a while. And they organize runs too.

another local TR4 owner; albeit green. I have 97 SR5 and 95 Sequoia. Does anyone know of a good mechanic that I can trust with this vintage 4R in the Peterborough area?

greetings!

Good evening from Ron in Port Credit! It's been a good long while since I got into anything with four wheels as motorcycles have been my passion the last while..
However now I find myself buying and now working on a high mileage third-generation Limited.. It certainly has been a fun puzzle to figure out and as it is a second vehicle in very much the project!!

Anyways greetings to you well and please add me to the list!

Cheers!
Ron

Off road Store

Hey guys,

Does anyone know a good off-road mechanics store in GTA? I have an ARB bumper need to install it. Thanks!

Hey guys, mississauga here! Just joined this forum, bought a 2000 4runner sr5, 5spd. Originally bought the truck as a beater for the winter but quickly fell inlove with it aha. Cleaned her up completely inside and out, undercoated everything underneath the car, no more rust on her either. I picked her up for $2000 so she wasnt in the best condition but she wasnt bad! Also got 4 winters ;) Painted her army green just recently and love the way it turned out! Still got a lot of work to do. Basically i wanted to say hi and introduce myself, my names Adrian, i live in mississauga and i was hoping that there are 4runner meets so that i can see different builds meet the guys and hopefully hit some trails! cheers

Im from Sauga too but live at the Brampton side. Meadovale/Streetsville aka North Mississauga. Same situation, I aquired my 4runner also to use as a winterbeater since I drive a bagged VW when its nice out. Im loving the 4x4 life and would like to mode this.

Hey Folks,

New 4Runner owner here. Recently bought a 2006 V6 Sport as a winter beater and like many of you, quickly fell in love with it! Hope to meet you at some meets!

Hey Ron
I had a first gen and some great guys led me on a crown land excursion north of peterborough.
Anyhow - I sold that and have a 2000 limited if you want to compare notes. I recently bought a 1986 BMW k75 so I have a bit of the bike bug now too.

Sounds interesting Jim.... I guess i posted that thing about a year ago and things have taken a bit of a change... Had a head on with the bike on a forest road near Bon Echo and had to be airlifted out! Suffice it to say that I'm at the end of a 30 year motorcycling relationship and am looking more and more like a 4 wheel guy!! ....that is of course when i get outa this damn wheelchair and back on my feet!
