Anyone from GTA

What tires did you end up going with? Are you scrapping the 20's?

I put the 20's away for the winter. I think I will keep the 20's until the tires are no more good

This is what my limited looks like to trail wheels. I like this look better.

Do you guys know of any (legal) off road trails around or close to the GTA? I usually go to pickering and just discover back roads... any leads would be greatly appreciated!

Another G.T.A. member here. I've been lurking for years. Currently looking at getting a 2016 Trail Edition. Best deal I've managed so far on a NEW one was just a little over $50K otd. Looked at 2 used ones with between 25K kms to 50K kms but they would end up being around $45 otd. I don't know how they expect to sell used ones at those prices when I can get a new one for only 5K more!!

4Runner remarkably holds its value very well due to high demand, amazing quality and capabilities, and Japanese build.
There is a shortage of the vehicles on the market as well and people usually keep their vehicle for 10+ years. This vehicle has its own drawbacks, but people who usually buys them are going for this specifically. I'm not a sale person, but I was told by many dealers that typical 4Runner customer is not the one who walks into the dealer with a goal of buying something and asks for recommendations, in contrast that person walks with specific model in mind and points it out at the beginning of the negotiations. Itsiganok like a loyalty club and it keeps the value of our vehicles.

Harder to look for off road trails in Ontario. Most lots being privately owned. I joined in the facebook page of southern ontario 4x4 club.. Looking to see if they have any runs in the near future. A bit intimidating though - The guys on there have heavily modded trucks!

Hi AlexJet!

Keeping an eye out for runs where newbies and non modified trucks can join in! Only "mod" I have on my 4Runner are AT tires [emoji23] are you active on the forums?

Well, some folks in SONTT like myself for example have stock trucks, and SONTT has stock friendly runs from time to time.

Hi guys,

I'm from the Stouffville area (north of Markham) and spend a decent amount of time in Ottawa. Picked up a 2017 SR5 two weeks ago. So far I'm loving it. Looking to try some light off roading in the near future, maybe even attend an informal meet and greet or two. If you guys hear of anything please share, thanks.

I'm In Fenelon Falls, North of you lads, near Bobcaygeon (5 points trail system, concession lake trail) and not far from Kinmount/Burnt River area (Loom lake trail, the Gully's trail, Wolf lake trail, the Salmon Lake Burn trail, and the infamous Green's Mountain trail)
I spend most of my summer on Georgian Bay, North of Parry Sound near the infamous trail system around Ardbeg....(Black lake trail North/South, Magnetewan Trails etc)
Send me a msg if you want some company wheeling in either area, I have a variety of Toyota rigs with varying capabilities from mild off road to light rock crawling (Stock 2001 4x4 Tundra, 2003 Lifted 4Runner v8 on 34's, '86 Lifted 4runner on 36's, 2007 4x4 Lifted Tacoma V6). I also have tons of recovery gear (winches, ropes, snatch blocks, hilift jacks, and welders, plasma cutters, tool, etc etc.) Or if you're into squealing tires and drag racing, I've got a sleeper 400hp supercharged Tacoma that likes to let loose. I should also mention that i have too many 1st gen parts for any one man.
Cheers, Aiden
