Anyone from GTA

I am looking at getting a Toytec Top1-T Front End Spacer installed on my Limited.. Any shops you guys recommend around the GTA? Was looking at doing the project with a buddy but after all the research, I think I will just go with professional installation. Called my dealer to inquire about installation, the quote was just not justifiable. Any leads would be very much appreciated!

I wish more people from the gta would help each other with wrenching but it's just not as common here as it is in the states. You could get help getting a lift installed for a case of beer down there.

That’s not exactly true. There are people here who would help... :wink2:

Beer's not an issue. Im a Chef at a microbrewery in Toronto so we're covered in that area. What I dont have are the tools! Read that a hydrolic press will be needed to get the bolts off the upper struts.

Beer is good, but most importantly is an extra pair of hands.
Not always. I have done many mods/repairs with just hand and air tools in my garage...

roof racks

anyone from the GTA know where I may be able to score a BAJA or GOBI rack locally ( any dealer or distributors here? )

or may be able to suggest a similar type of direct mount roof rack
I already have rails and cross bars and can always mount a universal type of basket like a ROLA , but would prefer something direct mount looks cleaner imo and more uniformed

thanks in advance

Hi guys I'm in Georgetown. I've been driving a stock 2016 White Trail since November. Been using the forum for the past few months to get ideas and to learn more about my truck. Nice to see some locals.

New owner of a black 05 V8 Limited. Picked it up back in February from its original owner with 240K on it.

Was very well maintained in all aspects except for the exhaust and being undercoated. Both exhaust manifolds had cracks and the pipe out of the muffler had completely separated due to rust. Otherwise the frame and body is in very reasonable condition. A few rust bubbles on the hatch to take care of.

I've been slowly getting it road ready doing all the work myself on weekends. Unfortunately the whole process has taken much longer than anticipated (mostly due to lack of available free time - getting married end of July) and the retirement of my 99 SR5 with 380K has been delayed.

My scope of work so far has included the following:
 • Replace cracked front windshield
 • Doug Thorley shorty headers with Flowmaster catalytic converters and custom waterjet cut 304 stainless flanges.
 • Borla cat-back stainless exhaust (purchased from 084RUNNAH)
 • Volant cold air intake
 • New cabin air filter
 • New rear wiper motor, wiper arm and blade
 • New rear brake calipers, rotors, pads, and rebuilt emergency drums with new hardware.
 • CRUX radio replacement kit w/ amp retention and Scosche dash kit
 • Remove winter tires and wheels and find new all-season tires

If all goes well it should be hitting the road Monday. The headers have definitely been the most time consuming and job pacing item. The factory manifolds probably took upwards of 10 hours to remove and I've spent the past 3 weeks waiting for the headers to be welded up. Looking forward to finally being able to drive it!

And my ol' SR5

 • Custom HID projector headlights
 • Tundra front brake upgrade
 • Intake silencer delete
 • Gabriel rear air adjust shocks
 • Bronze Level8 MK6 wheels

If weather permits I might go for an easy run on the weekend. Friend of mine has stock GX470 and he want to do so off-roading.
Anyone want to get his/her wheel on the trail?

4th gen custom storage box

Hey guys

I have a custom box with drawers etc.... I will be moving to a 5th gen in the near future and the box will not fit. Willing to part with it for $100.00 which nowhere even close covers materials. Sorry.... I am unable to attach the pics. If interested I can text pics.

I'm taking a roadie up (coming from the Philly, PA area) to Toronto this weekend and wondering if there is any LEGAL places I could take my stock '16 TE through?
