Anyone get their Icons from the MetalTech Sale?

Just wondering if anyone who ordered Icons during the sale Metal Tech did on cyber monday got their orders yet? I didn't realize it was going to be like a 2 months wait time on them. I emailed and they said sometime January...

I ordered from Metaltech and am also told it will be early Jan when they ship. Seeing as how multiple distributors were offering this Icon sale, it seems like Icon itself was authorizing the prices and going to fill the orders directly. No worries on my end as I wont be back in the States until spring but I can see how people would be itching for their gear.

I believe you are correct. At least they will be here before the bumper and we got a pretty good deal on the Icons. Still. I want them! Haha

Anyone notice they marked things up 5% before doing the 20% off sale? So really 15% off.

It's not just them. I ordered mine from Down South and they told me when I ordered that Icon was slammed and it would be at least 3 weeks until they could fill the orders.

Seems like many dealers had a sale at the same time on Icon stuff.

I'm ok waiting, especially since they gave me the heads up, but I sure am ready.

Got my uca's, rear coils, and shocks in today. I think it was in stock at metaltech so they shipped already. Other stuff that had to come from Icon (I'm guessing) has not shipped yet. So yeah just a little monkey torture here but I don't see it as Metaltech's fault.

Now is a great time to answer a question that I've yet to hear anything solid on:

Since there are several of us getting kits in around the same time, maybe we can see if there are any differences between the extended travel and standard travel.

I know they are different inside which allows for the added travel, but I've read mixed reports on the sizes and length externally as well.

I got the extended travel version to be used with TC UCA's. I'll post up some measurements when I get them. Could someone who ordered the standard travel do the same?

That sounds like a horrible way to conduct business, but it's not unheard of.

I wasn't very amused about it when I realized.

It was either they did that, or they marked it down 5% after the sale.

Looking at my planning spreadsheet though, I see I was correct.

Ignore my earlier post about extended travel vs standard. I just spoke to the folks and got the low-down. Same measurements outside. Only difference is a bushing inside is smaller to allow for the extended travel.

As stated elsewhere, this extra travel is only achieved with aftermarket UCA's. Essentially, the Icon Stage 1 extended travel is the Icon Stage 2 without their UCA's.

UPS tracking shows mine get here Monday.....

So ready to ditch these spacers and have real suspension and a decent alignment!

The 5% markup makes sense if this was a manufacturer sale (which Im pretty sure it was) and the 20% discount was off MSRP (which it was). Cant anyone just be stoked to have gotten a great deal?

I'm very happy with the deal. I got like $500 off or something close to that.

My 700lb extended front coilovers came in a couple of weeks. I did place the order a couple of days before the actual sale, which they honored anyway.

I order from Metal Tech, received my stuff and installed already. I order offset lower links and Icon LCA skids, i don't know if it make a difference compare to stuff you guys order.
