anyone have 265/75/16

I have an 2000 4runner with 265/70/16 tires on now. I am getting new ones. Does anyone have a 265/75/16's? I want to know if there is going to be any side wall contact because of the bigger size. Thanks

I wouldn't worry at all. This is a common upgrade everyone does in the rubber department.

yes I have them. No rubbing for me when I was stock. However some ppl are experience slight rubbing on full turns. You'll be fine though.

I used to have them. Then i switch back to stock size. No rubbing at the 75-size. However, my '02 4runner felt more sluggish with the taller tires...and being that the 3rd gen are not fast demons, i changed to the stock size. I figured Toyota knew best when they pick 265/70/16 size.

After much searching here only seeing info on 3rd Gen. Since I have resurrected this, any long term effects of this tire on stock? Looks like you get a 1/2” lift in the 4th Gen,hope no rubbing offroad.
