anyone have a clogged fuel filter before ?

I know on my older toyota truck { 1984 } it once had a fuel filter so clogged, it wouldnt run...

anyone ever see this happen on a 1995 4runner ? I know toyota claims they are lifetime fuel filters , but I doubt it.

umm..who said my filter was clogged ? I just asked if anyone had it happen to the point that the engine would not start...

No one did. but your title suggests it. I've had filters clog on me before though. They're cheap and easy to replace. If you think it's possible just replace it.

nowhere do I imply that I have this problem...nor do I insinuate I have the symptoms of a clogged fuel filter.
