Anyone have a Stock 05-06 4Runner stereo that they wanna sell? I just need the basic single disc unit with the amplifier built in.

Here it is, there are pics of the original head unit, I replaced it with a 6disc OEM radio...

Is that what you are looking for?

The bigger head unit is now installed, the smaller one is just sitting on a shelf in my basement.

Thanks for all the replies. The one I am looking for came stock on the SR5 models from 03-08 Single CD, with the amp integrated into the head unit. Some of the stock units had the amp seperately mounted.

Are you looking to replace a broken radio? I don't think the size changed from '05 - '06, the size difference is between the basic units and the JBL ones. For '06 the radios did change in that they no longer had a cassette, and added an aux. input, and MP3 capability. Check on eBay, see them on there once in a while. A Scion HU would be another option, it's a direct fit and a pretty easy install.

I have one, but the one that came in my truck makes weird popping nosies when listening to FM channels. I think there is a TSB on it or something. I should probably get that looked at.

Why not explore getting a SCION version? Apparently it is a direct swap for the non jbl radios and the sound is suppose to be "better". Do a search, it's been discussed before... You can probably score a scion unit for around $100 maybe better...

My stock 6 disk wma / mp3 sucks for sound.

Any direct swap I can put in for better sound . Plug and play , besides the Scion version that will work with steering wheel controls and my XM.

What's a good aftermarket one that fits and works well.
